Melody passed away 8/19/21.

Melody was born December 8, 1942 in Chicago IL and died August 19, 2021 in Antioch IL. She was a devout Catholic that lived in Mundelein almost her whole life.  Melody  was a fierce Bears and Cubs fan and was a champion race car driver at the Union Grove Race Track.

She is survived by her children Robin (Albert Jr.) Carneke-Green, Robert (Cheryl) Carneke, Courtney (Corri) Wilson, step children John Ruane, Laura Weber, James (Christine) Ruane, brother Curtis (Patricia) Carneke, sister Marcia La Magdeleine Patience, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Melody is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Delores Carneke, and her husband William Ruane.
