Emil “Butch” Radtke, Jr., August 25, 2018. Age 74. Born September 11, 1943 in Libertyville, IL to Emil, Sr. and Jean Radtke, who predecease. His wife, Mary Ellen, predeceased him. Survived by brother, John (Elsie) Radtke, sister, Nancy Radtke, children Michael (Colleen) Allen, Ineka (Tom) Tedford, and Emily (Joe) Warren and step-children Ray Umble, Tara Book and Brian Umble. Loving grandfather to Megan, Ryan, Michaela, Claire, Molly, Nikita, Alison, Katelyn, Lauren, Reagan and Bowen. Loving uncle to nieces and nephews. Beloved nephew to aunts, uncles and cousins. He loved his career as a trucker and traveled the entire country.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, from 1 p.m. until Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Lunch will be offered after the ceremony.

I'm sorry to hear of Emils passing
I hadn't seen him in a long time but the posting immediately took me back to my pre grade school days when I'd walk with my mother from Prarie ave in Mundelien up to the old downtown section and Yope's grocery store.
I'd stop bathe Radke house on Hawley and play with Emil. We had a lot of fun.
I will remember him
